Description
This is a project we had to do for 3D class. Build an entire room, lighting and texture, in two weeks. Had to include: sofa, upholstered chair, coffee table, side table, table lamp, floor lamp, 3 walls, a ceiling and a door.I just found a picture of a room I liked and built it after that. Tell me what you think. Is there anything I should fix? Lighting? Texture? Shapes? I might or might not get around to fixing it depending on how much you want me to change.
The only thing I REALLY like in this is the fireplace. I don't know why.

Your bookcase needs a different texture and you need to use smoothing groups for your sofa so it looks less blocky. what program did you use and can i have a copy of the file so i can look at it more..it so small @_@

It's Autodesk Maya (the couch was smoothed several times over, I think it's the lighting). And no, you do not need the file since I already turned it in, and it's done and over with. But thanks, though. :3

My only suggestion is to find a different texture for the bookcases, they seem a little flat and maybe make the lighting a little less stark, if that's possible.

Ah, so you did make that fireplace! I like the reflections from the floor, and the lighting effects overall.
If I could think of any improvements, if at all possible, try and make the rug more fringed, and the texture on it more clear. I don't know how hard it would be to edit these things, but that's all I can think of. The rest is wonderful. You did a great job!
Would've been cool if you had the time to do that fire thing though, but it doesn't look like you needed that much extra flair anyway, it looks great the way it does aside from that one thing I mentioned.
