This was one of a few charcoal sketches of people we did last year. I thought it looked fairly decent and decided to put it up. Deal with it.Related content

I love using that non-white-but-still-not-black paper, cause you can draw the white highlights and the black shadows right on there! it makes everything so much easier for the quick sketches. if only charcoal didn't smear so bad.
nice drawing btw, I like how the folds in her shirt and the way her body is twisted make the composition go 'whoosh!'.

That is super-neat! I love the contrast of the shadows and highlights. :B I also admire you for creating something so good using charcoal - I hate using the stuff!
