Third installment to my concentration.This was supposed to be a quick one to save on time which I was lacking at the moment, but it ended up dragging out for a while. Which sucked. Btw- those are all sports articles in the background. Spiffy, yeah?
Ugh. Once again, my digital camera sucks. D;
Materials: Arcylic, Conte Crayon, Ink, Colored Pencil, Newspaper and Gesso, on Canvas.

This is really impressive. The only thing bothering me is the third set of legs, as the foreground foot looks to be offset at an angle to where it should be. I like that the steampunk-y prosthetic legs aren't emphasized any more than the rest; it certainly serves to downplay their being "special" in favor of them just being the way it is.
I have to ask, though: did you put the newspaper down first and draw around it or draw and then put the newspaper down around it?

The newspaper was placed down first. The legs themselves were drawn on some sort of thick paper for conte crayon, cut out, and pasted on. Long process, I know, and probably unnecessary, but I wanted a certain affect to it. I dunno.

You're welcome. Thanks for explaining that for me; I thought you put the legs down first and then cut the paper to match, which would have been the easier(and less impressive, too!) route.

NICE! This concentration series rocks! The shading really looks like metal, and I like how the legs in the foreground are blurred while the legs in the background are sharp, it creates a nice effect. :3
