This took me all week long! And I love it! When I got this message from the I'm in Love with Link club, I knew immediatley that I wanted to draw him as an old fashioned detective! I was like, this will either be cute or cool, and I guess it's a little bit of both. This was mainly inspired by the Animatrix: A Detective's Story. That was my favorite little blip ever!!! I fell in love with it....

I played around so much with this. In Photoshop, I continued the old fashioned theme of Black and White, as you already see. There are two textures overlapping the picture to give it a more papery type look. The brick wall was a texture thing, I didn't draw that. But you may think that if you want and give me more credit! That big grey thing on the bottom and the top corners are shadows to give the affect that he's in an alleyway. My sister is sitting here critiquing (however that's spelt!) everything I'm writing and complaining that I have to explain everything.... ("only to get me back because I bother her all the time.")
