Hello guys!!!This drawing is a contest entry for the gaamatsu crossover contest gaaramatsu.deviantart.com/jour… in the group GaaraMatsu -->gaaramatsu.deviantart.com/
I decided to put Gaara and Matsuri in the Dragon ball-Universe!
The pic initially included only Gaara, Matsuri, Gohan and the little dragon. But then I tought "Hey, it would be nice if I put there my old OTP too" (GokuxChichi).
I drew Goku while he was flying and Chichi on his back, but since my anatomy s*cked like usual and it looked strange, I decided to put them on the Kinton/Nimbus cloud instead
So here you have my current OTP (Gaara and Matsuri) with my old one 
Matsuri is positively surprised to see a dragon, Gaara...a bit less
(I loved that little dragon and the friendship between him and Gohan).I also tried to give Gaara and Matsuri more Dragonball-ish clothes
About the background: Everyone is supposed to be high above the sea, flying. I hope I managed to make it look like that T_T
Time: around 15 hours
Reference used for Gaara's pose,Matsuri's head, the little dragon.
It's quite some time since I don't draw the Dragon ball characters, I hope they look ok

Gaara is one of my favorite characters, and I really like his sand techniques and the fact he's Kazekage!
I know about Dragon Ball Z, though not as much as Naruto.

I don't think the sand is drawn that bad. It's better than what I could do, I do fanfics, not art, though I have done a few art things, mostly related to school art class. I'd say your work is better though.
I think I have seen a few episodes. But have not seen enough to say if it's good or bad. I heard the fanbase is pretty split over it.

In the DragonBall series, I liked his original artwork best. In Z, it took a while to get used to it, but once the arc with the androids kicked in, the visuals became superb; Gohan was a cutie-pie from start to finish. (oh, my personal OTP is Bulma and Vegeta - it's cool how he's so badass, but turns into such a softie when it comes to his family)
Dragon Quest and the Chrono series. In Chrono Trigger, I am pleased that my favorite character (Magus) was drawn as if he were a cross between Vegeta and Kaiobit, who are my favorites in the DB series. ^^

Vegeta and Bulma, I also love them so much! It always made me laugh how she had him under her control with just few words

Hm, that's Bulma, all right. If that were not enough, he has a mini-Bulma to also worry about. Ha! (I am not pleased with what they did to him in GT... There were so many flaws and inconsistencies with his design... At least it's not really canonical - loved Pan in it, though)
Yes, it's really fun. I enjoyed the elemental system in the game - each character has his/her own element, opening up many strategies for boss fights. (the game was ported to the DS, complete with an exclusive dungeon)
