So I've been thinking.... would anybody want to start seeing some original characters (not related to any fandom/franchise)?Don't get me wrong, I like making fanart works (it makes up a crap ton of my gallery) but I've been wanting to release some original designs for a while now.
I felt comfortable enough releasing this weirdo. She's called Piper, she's a sort of humanoid bird creature. I made her up just recently. Her personality is simple at the moment: she's energetic, overly positive, kinda clingy, and has zero understanding of how humans work. She lives in a mysterious world above the thick tree tops, in a society of strange creatures separated from humanity.
I might make a reference page for her soon as well as some other characters.Β

I've never heard of Tartakovsky until I looked him up. I get who your talking about now after seeing his work though.
I do see how you get that feel from it, though it's not intentional, more coincidental I guess hehe.

Oh I've heard of Hazbin Hotel before (and absolutely love it). I take a lot of inspiration from all of Vivzie's work, which is why some artistic elements are similar to hers. I can totally see Piper being animated in her style, but she's too sweet to be living down in Hell though.

I'm not sure whether or not I want to draw much related to Johnny Test. I dunno, I'm just not as invested in the show as I am with some others.

Sure, Johnny Test May not be the most cartoon to draw out there, but I loved what you did the Vampire Twins, and they have a lot of potential to appear a lot on your drawings. Are they characters that have a lot of fan art, no, but they might be a perfect fit here.

Oh, I'm not one to care about the popularity of the subjects I choose to draw. I have no shame in drawing things that I like that others may not. I personally don't mind JT as a show, I just don't think I would draw it a lot. But if I felt like doing an occasional artwork about it, I'd probably prefer to draw the villain characters which are usually my favorites. Β

If I were to feature the vampire twins one more time I'd probably do a more complex, serious artwork where the twins would fight vampire hunter Johnny.

Not sure. I always start off a drawing with a very vague idea and just see where it goes from there. I could probably guess that it will have intense colors and lighting (I always go a bit overboard with that.)

I like many of the villain characters, but my favorite has to be BlingBling. The episodes that feature him are the most entertaining in my opinion. I just enjoy how he hatches all these complex plans in an extreme effort to get the interest of some girl he likes.

Hmmm, that's a tough question.Β
I guess Johnny and Zorch are a little similar. They both can be reckless and I think Johnny is also a little bit of a prankster like Zorch. Fire is also an element in both their designs (of course not literal fire with Johnny but he does have hair that resembles fire.)
And Teslo is like the sisters since they are the logical, smart, scientific ones.
