Sketching characters once again. I was intending to draw multiple characters but Scorpi ultimately conquered the entire canvas.ΒSorry if my artstyle keeps changing every five seconds, I just have a hard time deciding what direction to go in.

I'm not gonna lie, there was A LOT of potential for Scorpi in the series. He seems like one of those Mixels that should've had more chracter building, rather than ending the entire franchise abruptly. 9999/10 like always.

Honestly, a lot of the personalities could have had some interesting character development. The whole show could have been much better if the creators focused more on developing the characters instead of throwing each series into one episode and never focusing on them ever again.Β

Well, the creators didn't take care of them very well, so I guess it's up to the fans to keep it alive and interesting. The fanbase has been doing better than them ever since Series 2/Series 3.

I even heard that some people want to make a reboot series. Not sure how serious they are about it.
I kinda plan on redesigning the show too, but it'll take a long time.
For now I just do artistic redesigns, like this Scorpi art.

My idea, have the main setting be Mixel Land, with Mixopolis as the center. A select few would be the main group (Flain, Snoof, Scorpi, and a few other), and many of the others could have their personalities empathized. Take Burnard for example, his trait of finding everything funny could be taken up to 11. Many other minor characters could also have their own episodes centered around a situation theyβre in, or in their day to day lives. Also, the Nixels could have their motivation improved. In the original show, they hate the Mixels because they think theyβre far more superior than their colorful adversaries. In this hypothetical reboot, their superiority complex might be due to jealousy that they could never pull off the same accomplishments as the Mixels, so they pretend to be superior to the latter in order to forget that fact. I hope that helps, I love this show as the next guy, but, I always felt that it could need a bit of improvement.
