Hey there everybody you voted and I listened so here we are continuing Punchtale. A story I've written with art supplied by the amazing elRincondeUsagi
Here we have the follow up to a previous story Frisk's second bout with Toriel. The Human wants to leave the Ruins and begin her journey back to the surface
Toriel won't allow her to leave easily. The kid gloves are coming off and Frisk is up for a fight.

PART 2

“You wish to know how to return "home," do you not? Ahead of us lies the end of the RUINS. A one-way exit to the rest of the underground. I am going to destroy it. No one will ever be able to leave again. Now be a good child and go upstairs.” Toriel said sternly emanating a coldness never felt from her before

    Frisk couldn’t help but shiver from the chill coming from her. But never the less stood firm not moving, her actions giving Toriel her answer.

“You want to leave so badly? Hmph. You are just like the others. There is only one solution to this. Prove yourself... Prove to me you are strong enough to survive.” Toriel said as she stomped her foot.

    And Thus, Frisk found herself in a ring facing the exit to the ruins. Before her Toriel stood blocking her path. Once again, the HUB appeared before Frisk’s eyes as she swallowed a lump in her throat. Toriel had been so kind and cared for her, but she was keeping her here against her will. Frisk needed to leave and if it was through the kindly goat woman so be it.

“If you will not listen to reason. Then I will make you understand, that you cannot face what is out there!” Toriel said as she fastened her glove looking at Frisk with cold eyes

   Again, Frisk felt the shiver, but stood strong as she raised her gloves taking a stance. Toriel seemed offended by the action and bared her teeth as she took her own stance. Frisk noticed that her stance was a lot more rigid than the one she had during their sparring. That and there was this terrifying intensity coming from her, but there was also something else behind that intensity. It felt like sadness and fear.

DING

     Before Frisk could even register her thoughts Toriel was on her in an instant. Frisk’s eyes widened in fear as she looked up at Toriel bearing down on her with an intense glare. Frisk couldn’t even raise a guard as purple over took her vision. The Glove slammed into her face and with a WAP that echoed through the tunnel. Frisk’s head flew back violently as some saliva left her lips as she stumbles back. Her brain was bouncing in her skull as she took the full force of Toriel’s punch no headgear this time. And even when she had the headgear, she could tell that the punch she just took was on a whole other level compared to their sparring.

     Frisk’s head was then whipped to the side by a furious hook from Toriel. And before her body could stumble Toriel through a kick to the of Frisk’s body. The human letting out a gag as her body folded over the leg. Purple overtook her vision as Toriel lands another cross to Frisk’s face, this one knocking her off her feet with a spray of sweat. The Human landed on the back of her head before flopping on the mat.

“If that is all you have child, then you will perish the moment you step through that door,” Toriel said looking down at the groaning Frisk

     Frisk rolled onto her belly breathing hard as the numbers hung in front of her face. She couldn’t believe how hard Toriel could hit, how much she was holding back. It only took three hits to diminish her HP to 0. She was clearly stronger, but as the count reach 8 Frisk was on her feet gloves raised. She wasn’t going to back down, she couldn’t, she had to leave.

“If pain is the only way for you to comply! Then so be it!” Toriel growls taking her stance as well

    Frisk breathed steadily as she slowly approached Toriel. The Goat woman once again rushing out ready to lay into Frisk, however this time the human was ready. Frisk swayed past a cross to the face, she then dodges two quick jabs also aimed for her head. Frisk made quick breathes before ducking under a kick from Toriel. Seeing her opening Frisk shot up with a jab to the chin making Tori grunt. Frisk kept it up with two more jabs to the chin, and two to the body. Frisk ending the combo with a kick to Toriel’s side. She let out a pained grunt stumbling to the side, glove wandering to the hit area. She shook it off before glaring at Frisk and taking her stance again her health going to 420/440. It was good but Frisk knew she had to put more power behind her punches.

    Frisk stepped back dodging a hook from Toriel. Frisk took a defensive stance swaying getting ready for whatever Toriel could throw at her. Toriel still in a fury charges throwing wild punches at Frisk which the human easily dodged moving ever closer. Once the gap was closed Frisk threw a hook to Toriel’s side getting a grunt from her as she stopped attacking. Frisk laid into Toriel’s midsection with 5 quick jabs, before jumping up and landing another shot to her chin. Toriel stumbled back trying to shake off the attack as Frisk advanced.

      Frisk rammed her knee into Toriel’s gut making the goat woman gag and double over. Toriel’s head is then shot up by a kick to the chin that sent her back. Frisk brought her foot back and then leapt in the air throwing a kick to Toriel’s face. The still stumbling guardians head was flung to the side with spray of sweat. Frisk landed on her feet and Toriel on her side with a THUD. Frisk backed up as the Numbers appeared once again over Toriel.

1, 2, 3, 4

    Toriel got up with a groan shaking her head, and glaring at Frisk who kept her determined gaze. Toriel observed the human before her muscles became less tense and she took her own stance circling the human.

“Alright then, a more collected approach then.” Toriel said in deep focus

     Toriel focused on Frisk throwing a quick jab that nailed Frisk in the cheek. Frisk grunts noting how there wasn’t as much power this time as there was last time as she steps back. Toriel then throws two jabs which Frisk dodges and tries to counter with a kick to the body. But Toriel deflects the kick to the side easily and counters with a jab to the chest making Frisk cough. Frisk stumbles back holding her chest only to then get a hook to the cheek.

WHAM

     Frisk’s head is flung to the side with a spray of sweat and spit flying from her mouth as Toriel landed a hook. Frisk stumbled to the side her mind rattled as she tried to regain her footing and senses. But she wasn’t given anytime as Toriel rushed in and connected a Knee to Frisk’s chin. With a CRACK Frisk’s head shot up and she was knocked off her feet crashing onto her back as she stared up wide eyed at the ceiling.

“If that is all that will take you down, then you aren’t ready for what is beyond this gate.” Toriel said seriously

1, 2, 3, 4, 5

     Frisk managed to beat the numbers again standing up shaking her head and holding her chin. She managed to raise her guard and approach Toriel going defensive and circling. Toriel narrowed her gaze and did the same.

“You should’ve of stayed down and did as I say.” Toriel says seriously as she throws out a jab that Frisk managed to block and back up

    Frisk blocked three other punches coming from Toriel and managed to block a kick with her lower leg. Frisk lets out a grunt as she did take a jab to the face quickly raising her guard to her face.

DING DING

      With that the round was over and Frisk lowered her guard panting hard as she looked at Toriel who walked silently back to her corner. Frisk looked at her solemnly before going to her corner and the menu appeared again. Frisk immediately choose ACT and went to TALK.

You couldn't think of any conversation topics.

Frisk frowned at this and tried again

Ironically, talking does not seem to be the solution to this situation.

    Frisk sighed at this and went to ITEMS, choosing the Bandage. As she applied it a 10HP icon appeared and she felt better. She took a breath and looked to Toriel who remained silent, but she could feel sadness and hesitation coming from her as well.

DING DING

ROUND 3

     Frisk came out of her corner with a hop in her step and her guard raised, taking her time and observing Toriel as she circled. The two locked eyes and circled for a few minute, until Frisk getting nervous and inpatient makes the first move throwing a quick jab. Toriel easily blocks it and two others aimed at her face, Toriel quickly shoots out her leg slamming her foot into Frisk’s gut. The human jumps back with a gag covering their gut, only to heave her head rocked from

left to right in quick succession from a series of hooks

BAM

      Frisk’s head flung to the side with her mouthpiece flying out with a trial of saliva. Frisk lets out a groan as she collapsed on her side with a THUD. Frisk struggles to breath as she flops onto her back the numbers floating over her.

1, 2, 3

      Frisk vision slowly clears as she tries to focus on the numbers. But manages to look past them and sees Toriel’s face.

4, 5, 6

      Frisk see’s an unsure and even worried expression upon Toriel’s face as she looked down on her. She looked like she didn’t want to do this

7, 8

    Frisk got up to her feet and shook her head with a groan her legs shaking a bit as she breathed heavily. Toriel looked visibly shaken by Frisk as she got up still managing to stare her down.

“WHY-WON’T-YOU- STAY DOWN!!! DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND I’M DOING THIS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!!” Toriel yells as she charges her gloves igniting on fire

    Frisk let out a yelp as she side stepped a flaming hook to her head. Frisk danced about narrowly dodging the flaming hits trying her best not to get cornered to the ropes. But with each move she felt her legs lightly shake as she tried to keep moving, but knew she couldn’t forever. And as soon as she thought that she felt her legs buckle and she missed a step. Frisk’s breath was caught in her throat as she saw the fist coming at her.

“JUST LET ME SAVE YOU!!!” Toriel yells as she throwsa flaming cross to Frisk’s head

     Time almost slowed as the glove closed in on Frisk’s face. Frisk could feel the heat coming off it as the leather pressed against her face full impact imminent. But then something surged through Frisk and she did something incredible. Using the momentum as she felt herself fall back from her misstep she felt herself spin and move out of the way of the punch. Toriel’s eyes widened as she locked eyes with Frisk’s determined eyes.

WHAM

      Toriel’s head flew back as Frisk swung her whole body into a blow to the chin her mouthpiece flying with a trail of saliva. Frisk nearly lost her balance as she stumbled forward and Toriel crashed on her back. Frisk regained her footing a breathed heavily.

1, 2, 3, 4

“Ha ha...” Toriel said weakly

5, 6, 7

“Pathetic, is it not? I cannot save even a single child.” Toriel said on the verge of tears covering her face with her gloves

Frisk walked over to the downed Toriel

10 KO!!

     As soon as the bell rung Frisk dropped down to her knees and hugged the sobbing Toriel. Though it hurt the comfort was also felt As Toriel returned the embrace.

“No, I understand.” Toriel said as she sat on the ring apron applying bandages to Frisk, the Goat mother also bandaged as well

“You would just be unhappy trapped down there. The RUINS are very small once you get used to them. It would not be right for you to grow up in a place like this. My expectations... My loneliness... My fear... For you, my child... I will put them aside.” Toriel said with a small smile as she grabbed a duffel bag and handed it to Frisk

“Urgh... You are stronger than I thought... Listen to me, small one... If you go beyond this door, Keep walking as far as you can. Eventually, you will reach an exit. ... .... ASGORE... Do not let ASGORE take your soul. His plan cannot be allowed to succeed. ....... Be good, won't you? My child.” Toriel asks as Frisk answers with a hug

    Toriel catches her breath and returns the hug before facing the ring, unable to watch as Frisk faced the doors outside the ruin. Frisk swallowed hard and pushed the doors open, ready to face whatever was in her path on her way home.
