The colored version of [link] I'm rather pleased with it. Its been a while since I actually did a piece all on my own instead of a colab, so I decided I better get something done before I have to get back to school. I just got Titans #20, and in it Raven decides that her civilian name will be Rachel Roth, (Now that Raven is no longer a slave to her father, she wants to try and have a normal life outside of the cowl when she's not crime-fighting with the Titans) and Wonder Girl's been helping her expand her wardrobe. So I decide to do a picture of Raven as Rachel Roth, in the little red dress from issue #20, but drawn in the TV-show anime style.Here's the text from where in #20 I got the inspiration:
Wonder Girl: That looks GREAT, Raven.
Raven: You think, Cassie? I feel... uncomfortable.
Wonder Girl: You said you wanted to EXPAND your wardrobe.
Raven: The COLORS hurt my eyes.
Wonder Girl: Smile.
Raven: Why?
Wonder Girl: Because it LOOKS good.
Beast Boy: Hey! What are you WEARING Raven?
Raven: I... Stop... STARING at me.
Beast Boy: The DOOR was OPEN. I was just going to see a flick. Though you might want to -- (finds Raven's school ID) what's THIS? "RACHEL ROTH"?
Wonder Girl: It's the NAME she's using in High School. Like a SECRET IDENTITY. She wears that HOOD as RAVEN, and Cyborg though it'd be a good idea after everything that's gone on --
Beast Boy: RACHEL? That's Hilarious.
Raven: Why do you find it FUNNY? My name. My clothes. I just want a chance to do something besides hiding behind my cloak. Why are you LAUGHING?
Beast Boy: I'm not, it's just... I'm not used to seeing you look like a normal girl.
Raven: GET OUT OF MY *ROOM*!
*Black Magic Scariness*
Beast Boy: WOAH!! (Beast boy turns into a fox and flees the room, running into Robin)
Beast Boy: Hey, Tim. Watch out for the girls. They need "alone time".

nice. I hate to critisise but you have the wrong robin, The Teen Titans one was Dick Grayson, not Tim Drake. But seriusly, nice pic.

Both the outfit cartoon Raven is modeling & the dialog are both from the comics. Dick Grayson was Nightwing by this time & Tim Drake had taken up the mantle of Robin (prior to becoming Red Robin) meanwhile Jason Todd was coming back from the dead as the Red Hood. Both Nightwing and Koriand'rย (Starfire) had left the Titan team already by this point in the comics. Garfield Logan (Changeling/Beast Boy/Animal Man) and Raven - alias Rachel Roth - were the only two main New Teen Titans team members still going as Titans with the younger generations after them, especially once Victor Stone (Cyborg) also joined the Justice League, like Wally West (former Kid Flash/the 3rd Flash, after Barry Allen as the 2nd & J. Garrick as the 1st, but existing before the 4th otherwise known as Impulse, Bart Allen) had before him.

It's funny that Gar was actually planning to ask Raven out to a flick (and with Cassie there, and him being the philanderer that he is, he probably asked her also), and his shock of seeing Raven trying to be "normal" became his downfall (she kicked him out of the room before he could correct himself for his poor word choice).
Then again, Raven probably deserved a little shot at her new name, considering how she poked fun at BB's real name in "Homecoming pt. II" (Season 5 being the TV series version of Gar's struggle with the Brotherhood of Evil, just as Season 4 is a watered-down "Terror of Trigon" and Season 2 is a kiddified "Judas Contract").

Well where the Titans are at right now timeline-wise, Raven should be 18.
The show's team lineup is apparently based off of the 1980's series: The NEW TEEN TITANS. It was new because there was a really sucky Titans comic in 60s-70s, featuring Robin, Speedy, Wondergirl, and Aqualad. That team disbanded, i.e. no one was buying the comic. The New Titans story starts, chronologically, when Raven, at 16, flees from Azeroth to Earth because she has had a little too much of the Azerothian ambivilance. She spies on the tormented Kid Flash, sorta falls in love with him, saves him from killing himself, makes out with him, knocks him out, returns him home, and she returns to Azeroth, and he ends up thinking it was all a dream. Things get cooking 2 years later when Raven finds out that Trigon is definately planning on conquering Earth and goes to stop him, despite the Azerothian's forbidding her to do so. She knows she will need help, so she goes to the Justice League. Zatanna can sense she is a half-demon, clues Batman in, and he's all like, "Bitch, get runnin". So she instead goes to the more-trusting Robin (Who is I think 16 at the time), and talks him into starting a new Titans Team. So he and Raven get together Cyborg (18?), Beastboy (13), Starfire (16?), Wondergirl (16?), and Kid Flash (17).
Of course, the show might be portraying them differently, and it doesnt help that DC comics draws 15 year olds like they're 23 (i.e. current Super Girl [link] ).
