Process ofI like to reflect back on how I drew stuff.
I'll get to comments soon, but right now I am in so much pain, I can't even sit properly hahaha.

The shadowing and also how can you do that by blending the lines? I saw your vid and was like 'O.e......' So yes I am confused with the way you blend colors so efficiently.

Try brush with high blending color and high density. It usually mixes the color well.
Usually when doing the shadows I do it on another layer with "Multiply". After I finish shading, I flatten the layer and blend the shadow onto the drawing. ^^

I love seeing your process, man. Though I never understand how you manage to do these lineless colored pieces. I feel confused like hell without lines.

Hmm, I don't know how to describe it, man. I do have the lineart, but I would mix the lineart with the colors so the line's all gone, leaving the colors only. Then I just fix the shape to make it look like a human being? That's how I see it though.

too much red you need to bring your main object (character) out from the rest of the image.

Agreed on that. I'll probably need to research on colors that would complement red though, to make the character stand out since the coat has to be red. So far, I can only think of dark blue for the shadows and background, hopefully I would be able to think up of another way. Thanks for the input!

yes the blue does help but its a little saturated my advice try give the main object stronger lines (Black) or darker red around the edges and areas of focus but dont over do it XD.

ohh one last thing are you rendering at 300 pixles per inch or 72 looks a little fuzzy XD.

Ahhhh, I was afraid of that. I always seem to make the colors saturate. ;n;
I think I might go for darker red around the edges, because I somehow don't really like thick black lines. I get a bit irritated by it, haha. I suppose I'll darkened the areas of the character then? I've tried for light red but it makes the character seems to shine for no reason, haha. Sparkling in the forest, nothing new there, right? XD
Ah, I saved this in jpeg, at a bit of low resolution. I always do that for process images because I usually upload on Tumblr and Tumblr is horrible at displaying images. The original is in higher resolution though, since I uploaded it in PNG.
