(It had a really really awful haircut)Β

Very nice, the scars exposed on the back are a very nice touch. They give the photo a darker mood and help it live up to its name. The poise lives up to the mood, helping darken it. The pants are also very fitting, it helps the flesh that isnt exposed melt easily into the background. At first glance it looked almost human.

this is pretty amazing, I've seen photography of dolls, but nothing like this! Usually it's just pictures of the creation of the doll, or simple before and after shots...However this is so good I thought it was a real person, and you used Photoshop! I love the perspective, the natural pose, and the lighting!~
well done!

So what would you say is the truth, that this doll imitates real life with it's physique or that human beings in this day and age emulate dolls in pursuit of the "Perfect" physique?

Haha, I was just joking further... you are not at all wrong seeing as this is somewhat of a chicken or the egg situation.
I don't know, I have two nieces and it seems strange to me that dolls go from being chubby baby dolls for younger girls to these impossibly skinny "fashion" oriented dolls for slightly older girls. I mean granted I grew up thinking that dudes were supposed to have GI Joe six packs, facial scars, and of course kung fu grip and strove towards that but that's more indication that kids are easily influenced.
I mean look at a typical model, there are more or less synonymous with beauty nowadays and they absolutely have to maintain that shape; well the crazy part is models are so skinny because designers initially created their products on hangers and thus had to find a model who's shoulders were similar in shape and dimensions to said hanger to properly display the dress. while mannequins were built with this dilemma in mind but the status quo had already been set.
I don't know, kind of flew off the rails on that one... see look at that, good bit of thought provoking art you've got there.

Well I think Haute couture its really discriminative for doing clothes just for real skinny people. It's just not fair, real people it's not that thin. Even if you're normal, I think I'll be called fat by a modist if I try to be a model.
In the other hand, there are a high number of fat people in the world, that normal people it's considered like "Thin/skinny". It's really weird.
I never liked dolls when I was a young girl. At that time I just thought dolls are for stupid spoiled princess girls wearing pink all the day. I'd prefer ponnys, polly pockets, dinosaur's dolls, and playing nintendo games. So they're the first dolls I have and I don't consider them my kids. In fact I can't stand kids, I don't like them. My dolls are dolls, and they will be dolls with no souls for the rest of their lifes XDDDDDDDDD!

I think you've got a good point regarding obesity pulling the standard in a weird opposite direction.
"At that time I just thought dolls are for stupid spoiled princess girls wearing pink all the day. I'd prefer ponies" haha I'm sorry that one cracked me up because I guess I associate ponies with everything you associate dolls with... but Kudos on diggin' Dinos and bein' a gamer chick, there's far too few of you.

Yup, but I was referring myself to choosing animals before baby dolls, or barbies. I'm not the kind of girl who dreams to be a mom. I think women should not be forced to "fulfill the role" to be mothers. It is not mandatory, as well as for men is not mandatory to be fathers.
I was a fan of dinosaurs after seeing The land before time and Jurassic park, omg I still love them.
About the games, you're wrong. Girls represent the 40% of the people in the world who consumes games. We are a lot, but we aren't announcing the fact that we play a lot everywhere XD HAHA!

Oceanographer and Paleontologist were the first two professions I decided I want to be, Paleontologist took priority after I figured out I really don't like being in the water all that much.
For some reason I could never get into the Land before Time series. But I loved Jurassic Park and that old sitcom Dinosaurs.
As for your gaming statistic... provide proof of this because I don't believe that, I mean it would be nice but that's certainly an over-estimation unless there is an enormous island in the pacific occupied by nothing but gamer chicks that nobody knows about. I've encountered Gamer chicks before but only after having to swim through a sea of nerds to meet them.

Believe it or not, its up to you. I speak frankly because the thesis of one of my friends at university prove it. And she's gonna make a full-of-girls-game. There will be no men as characters on there. It sounds good, I think if she success , I'll play her game. But for being straigh is better playing games full of pretty men everywhere β₯ hahaha!
Oh, besides, all of my girl friends play games. They're superfun, I don't see why not to believe we are a super game consumist! β₯ . I the most I like are the ones of war, a lot of guns and a lot of blood.

Haha, I want to believe that, that's why I'd like to read actual data supporting the claim. If I have data in front of me then I'm more inclined to believe.
I'm pretty much the same way when it comes to games, if there's a firearm in it I'm more or less down to play it... I do have a bad habit of complaining about how weapons function in the game when I have shot those weapons in real life but it is what it is.
