A good friend of mine got me that old masterpiece gameLegend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
i never got to play it when i was a kid so it was pretty awesome...
presently i am at Turtle Rock..roughly an almost near-end Temple.... Now then there is a sign at the practical entrance of the damn place that basically says "If you dont got a magic Potion, ready your anus"... me being a badass ignored it and got through most of it with little problem "except in some places" and then you get to the boss...A three headed Fire/Ice Turtle only damaged by the ice and fire rods... which take lots of magics to use..i got fucked pretty nasty XD

Did you get the half-magic cost power-up? Cause if you're careful and you have that, you may not need a Medicine of Magic (the game name for the MP Potion).

remember, you can get free green potions by throwing empty bottles at the fairy fountain under the water fall

you can also throw in your boomerang and it becomes a magical boomerang. goes farther, faster, and stuns longer. since you're at turtle rock this next part will be pointless since you have the mirror shield but it you throw in your starting shield you'll get the magic shield. it's bigger so more area to block arrows and it will also deflect fireballs.
