Description
Finally spring comes in the heart of Maythe slender branches filled in with leaves
fleshing out the trees skeletal limbs
the nettles flourish
the brambles begin their crusade across the fields
gooseweed thrown and caught on clothes
the wild barley shaped into childrens darts
already the grasses yellow from the encroaching sun
brought forth by the onset of summer.

I like the imagery of the trees and the brambles- although you could say nettles and dock constantly fight for supremacy.

best part of this poem I think is how it flows so easilly, a lot more easily than version 1.
