Description Hey, I'm not dead!!!   School and stuff has been super busy. XP

I know I've done this before but I figured I should do an updated version, especially with Sword and Shied about tto be released and this whole thing potentially changes again.
Also, Gallade, Reshiram, and Latias are all purposefully not on this because all three are dual-typed and would take up 2 slots each if one or more of them were added.  Because of this and wanting to show off more Pokémon, my top 3 favs are not featured.

Grass: Roserade
It's pretty cool, and I like the design.  It's an anthromorphic plant with thorny bouquets for hands which is more interesting than a lot of Grass 'mons that are either literal plants or animals with plants on them.

Fire: Volcarona
With so many Fire types looking similar (red, orange, on fire, etc.), Volcarona is more unique in design and lore and is an awesome Pokémon.

Water: Mudkip
I alwaya loved Mudkip.  It's officially my favorite starter Pokémon!  It's so cute and adorable and evolves into something awesome!  It's kinda hard to believe I chose Torchic as my first Pokemon ever instead of this one.

Normal: Girafarig
I always found this Pokémon interesting.  It's sad I forgot it existed for a while.  Once I remembered this Pokémon's existence, I remembered how much I like this Pokémon.  It's also more interesting than most other Normal types.  And can I just say I love how the name is a palindrome?  Girafarig spelled backwards is Girafarig.  It works for this Pokémon even though it's tail doesn't match it's head.

Electric: Raichu
I've had a soft spot for Raichu in more recent years.  Plus it is stronger than Pikachu.

Psychic: Alolan Raichu
It might be Raichu again, but it's different enough!  Right...?  Anyway, this actually 3rd after Gallade and Latias, but 3rd place ain't bad!  Other Psychic-type Pokémon can sometimes look pretty weird or just don't make the cut for what I like.  Alolan Raichu has the appeal of regular/Kantonian Raichu plus psychic powers which is awesome!

Fighting: Blaziken
I do have a soft spot for my first Pokémon ever and it's evolved forms, Blaziken being the coolest.  A lot of Fighting-type Pokémon seem uninteresting to me, but Blaziken is probably the coolest with the best design!

Rock: Amaura
IT'S SO CUTE!!!  I want to hug it, own it, and never evolve it!  Also, most Rock types are... too rocky imo.

Ground: Swampert
And Swampert was awesome to use in my Emerald game.  It's really strong and useful!

Flying: Emolga
In a type full of mostly birds, non-birds always stand out.  Emolga is one of the more interesting ones

Bug: Shedinja
I really don't like bugs.  At least some Bug-type Pokémon are cool and interesting.  Shedinja is one such Pokémo.  It only has 1HP, can only take damage from super effective moves are extra effects like weather or recoil, and is based on the shed skin of a bug.  Is that not interesting enough?  Do I like Shedinja more than Volcarona?  No.  I just really like Shedinja and wanted to feature it.

Poison: Salazzle
Forget about the sexy female aspect of the design.  This Pokémon is just awesome!  It helped me through two Gen 7 games, and the flamming poison lizard design is really awesome!

Dark: Zoroark
A lot of Dark types are black-colored or very mean.  Zoroark is the most interesting and the coolest to me, and it's sorta fun trying to make your opponents think it's a different Pokémon with its ability.  Also, all the red in its hair helps it stand out a bit more.

Ghost: Chandelure
I don't like creepy, scary stuff, and that extends to most Ghost-type Pokémon.  Chandelure is really cool though!

Ice: Glaceon
My favorite Eeveelution!  I want one irl sooo much!  Plus a lot of Ice-type Pokémon are too icy or don't seem icy enough.  Actually Glaceon might not be icy enough, but I still love it!

Steel: Jirachi
Compared to most Steel types, it's rather cute as well as powerful.  Plus, who wouldn't like a personal shooting star to grant wishes?

Dragon: Dragalge
A Pokémon bsed on my favorite animal?  YES PLEASE!!!  It's one of the reasons I've started liking the Poison type more.  Do I like Salazzle more than Dragalge?  No.  I just like Salazzle more AS A POISON-TYPE than Dragalge is all.

Fairy: Diancie
It was close between this Pokémon and Xerneas, but something with Diancie's diamond design gives it the gold.  At least until next week when Alcreamie will be claiming this spot.
