Well, I finally got too it.After making the Elemental rift skins fav.me/d5zbiox I decided I really wanted to make a 'Pure Elements' series of skins where the dragon is made entirely of an elements, one fore each of the flight.
This is the first of the skins - Ice.
I plan to make each of the Pure Element skins for the Imperial, they are my favorite after all ^^
More to come! (but they take a while @_@ my goodness they take a while)

I fully recommend that you save this for the Crystalline Gala in December, this would most definitely be a winner in the skin contest. I mean. My friend linked me to this and I literally gasped because it was that stunning.

That's really cool. I love the transparent affect - I've been trying to pull of something like that for a non-FR piece, and it's difficult as anything. You must've worked really hard on this.

You could just bring down the opacity of the skin color, or actually this:
Go to a new layer above everything else and color where the body part should be, making it a darker color. Then just bring down the opacity and then it's visible in the background! That's at least what I do, haha. xD

All the layering of body parts and figuring out how many layers are on top of each other and therefore how dark each overlapping bit should be and how light the single un-layered/overlapped should be comparatively and how much distortion the ice would make on the shadows/transparency and Blah!! XD

now this is a skin i would pay a great deal of whatever the heck the seller wants for. seriously, this is by far one of, if not the best imperial skins i've seen. i relish the thought of imperials skins like this based on all the other flights.... i better start saving....
