Macabre stuff, but still very true: this photo really captures what vexes me most about a breakup. Paradoxically, at a time when most distance is needed, one can't help but feel nailed and stapled to their partner emotionally. I've had mixed results disconnecting from exes, but right now I can relate to the need for facing away but the reality of being so damn close.
