Description

          It was a small toy store where old fashion toys were for sale. These toys were special each one hand made. Every year all the boys and girls rush in to see what new toys were made that year. But there was one toy that sat one toy that sat on the shelves of the store year after year, a puppet. He didn’t have much detail but what stood out about him was his smile; that would brighten everyone’s day when they saw him. Yet every year all the other toys would be sold except for him.



This one toy could never be picked up. Until one year a little girl came in saw the little puppet. She begged her mother for it and a little handmade cat toy that sat next to him. The mother tells her she can only have one of the toys not both. The little girl stood there looking at both of them; like looking at 2 puppy from a pet store. The puppet falls over and pushes the toy cat fall onto the girls lap. She looks at the puppet for a while then looked at her mother and tells her she wants to take the cat home.

        The store owner see’s the puppet on its side and its smile was the same but even brighter than ever but a small tear was in its eye. No matter how many times he cleaned it there would be a small tear still in his eye. That night as the store owner closed the store he saw the puppet with an empty smile now. His tears wouldn’t stop falling down. The next morning when the store owner looked at the puppet he wasn’t smiling anymore. He had cried his face away.
