June is a little dog with a big heart. Problem is, she's too shy to show her love. Anxious June lives with her owner in their apartment. June's owner is a photographer and stumbles across Summer's isolated beach in the hunt for scenic locations. Despite her anxieties, June is optimistic and by ignoring her first impressions, she becomes great friends with Summer. Often used to being cramped in her apartment, June craves the freedom that Summer has, but soon realises the costs when she sees her friend's great loneliness.

Anthro June is a photographer herself, and comes across Summer's beach under the same circumstances. Despite her anxieties she falls in love with a local beach goer named Summer.

Name: Brine (nickname, real name unknown)
Species: House Cat
Gender: Male
Age: 3 (cat years), 20 (human years)
Sexuality: Straight
Location: A small house near Summer's Beach.

Brine is Summer's best (and often only) friend. As named so by Summer, due to his white coat. Brine suffers from the same loneliness as Summer, and seeks her company despite the difference in species. Brine is cynical and old fashioned, and often needs to be encouraged by Summer to try anything remotely new. He is not a fan of June on her first arrival, but soon warms up to her.

Anthro Brine is Summer's neighbour.
