This is an interquel taking place between Part 6 and Part 7 during the five years of Paikea's Vision Quest. She is 17 years old at this point.

Part 1 of 7. Well now! To help tide people over until the release of Mission 2 or Event 2 or whatever the admins at #Pokemon-of-Avalon are planning next, I'm releasing a...story within a story! But really, out of all of Paikea Amy's moves, Psychic was the one that felt the most out of place, yet the most useful at the same time, so I thought it would make sense if during those five years of "exile" someone taught her such a move. Plus, Xatu are cool, and I've always wanted to have an excuse to create a cool-looking Xatu character.

His name is Kel-Zich, and I currently have no plans to turn him into an official Personal NPC for the group. He's just an important figure in Amy's past at this time. (Eagle-eyed viewers may notice that he has three yellow stripes instead of the usual two; an important characteristic signifying male Xatu. Man, when was the last time I got to draw a Pokemon species that actually had gender differences?) I'm really looking forward to revealing more of the guy's personality in the upcoming parts!

Any resemblances to a certain scene in the movie Tarzan are completely coincidental.
