Because it was getting really annoying typing out "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Time/Darkness/Sky Space-Time Continuum of Awesome Featuring Team Pecha, That Is To Say, Amy, Chikorita, and Grovyle, and What, No, I'm Not Making This Title Overly Long on Purpose, What Are You Talking About" over and over and over again.
Anyway, for those of you who don't favorite all of my works (or even those who do), or for those of you who don't know or don't feel like going to the gallery I've made for this series, here is a convenient place where I'll be recording down every single one of these things in chronological order. Might as well, right?
Prologue: How Inspiration Works

And thus, the title page for the new 4-panel comic series is here!! Based on the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky games for the Nintendo DS.

Believe it or not, the title page was the most difficult part of the entire series for me to come up with. I wanted a funny scene like the one for my Harvest Moon 3D: A New Beginning series , in that it would be a good preview for the sorts of silliness to come, but just couldn't think of anything funny that the main characters could do that wasn't already in the comics. Heck, I even considered making the page a false advertisement for another generic harem show. Eventually, I realized that if I couldn't have the characters' actions be funny, maybe I could instead fill it up with words that were funny. Specifically a whole bunch of fake quotes like you see here. XD (Not to mention it helped me get more practice with graphic design since I don't fill my pictures with fancy wording as much as I probably should.)

It was also probably my only opportunity to really show just how awesome the three characters here are together, and how empowering it feels when you play as them in the games and just mow down your opponents on your way to save the world. It's quite interesting just how well this picture conveys it, especially with the words.

Question: What is this comic series all about?

Answer: This comic is based off of the humorous things I have observed upon thinking about and replaying Explorers of Sky. Some of these jokes are repeats from things I've written about the last time I've tackled this series, but most are relatively new. But they're all for the purpose of entertainment and making you laugh~.

Q: How long will it last? What will the update schedule be like?

A: Currently, I have enough ideas to fill 74(!) comic strips, though there can always be more if I happen to think of more ideas along the way. I plan to upload one of these things every 2 days, and will increase it to one every day if I finish all 74 early. Shouldn't be too hard, especially since Pokemon can be a lot faster to draw than people.

Q: Will these comics be in chronological order/always have the same number of panels?

A: For the most part, yeah. There there will be some that are only one panel, and fewer still that are 8 panels.

Q: Does Team Pecha here have any relation to the previous incarnations of Team Pecha that you've created in such things as Echoes of Time and PMD-Explorers?

A: For the most part, no. Though they might have the same names and similar personalities, these characters are mostly here for the purposes of humor more than anything else this time around instead of maintaining any sort of continuity whatsoever. Also, they're characters that my watchers are most familiar with and ones that I have by far the most motivation to draw in all these panels. Especially because there otherwise really aren't that many major female characters in the game and I can count them all on one hand. XD

Q: Speaking of continuity, will this comic follow every single plot point to the letter?

A: For the most part, yes...but with certain, specific exceptions. Such as if there's an entire plot point that could totally be leaped over if the characters talked about, say, a certain specific thing. Played for comedy, of course.

Q: Why is the main heroine a Jigglypuff?? You couldn't become a Jigglypuff in the games!!

A: Yeah, I know. And it sucks. T_T
Since this is a comic, I figured I might as well correct that through my art, hahaha. Besides, longtime watchers of mine are quite familiar with the Jigglypuff/Chikorita team combo of mine, so by now, it's practically expected. Not to mention both cute and awesome~.

Q: STOP MAKING THE MAIN CHARACTER IN EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOUR SERIES NAMED AMY

A: NEVAR!!1!!11! *flees*

(In all seriousness, though, I don't plan to do this for any original series beyond Intergalactic Fusion. Whether I'll continue to do this for future 4-panel comics based off of video games I have played or not, however, I make no promises.)
