I decided a while ago that after I was having some trouble with a nice, polished sketch before moving onto the painting process that I was just going to experiment and see what would happen if I began painting directly and see if that would help move me along, and sure enough, it did! As such this is a super experimental piece but I can say that I'm beyond pleased with how it came out a lot better than my expectations! I love Primarina a ton but never draw her ;;
