Okay so...Rich headcanons/things. Because, like, I love this boy and don't draw him enough. And this line legit reminds me more of Rich than Jer bc after the musical, Jeremy's nerd persona is back, Rich is probs still gettin used to not having a Squip.
(this is one of the first drawings I have that isn't a PFP that doesn't have Jere, Micha, or Squip in it holy cow)

So headcanon time!

-Rich's hair is actually really fluffy and it's brown, he bleached it and got a red streak after he got a Squip bc it told him to, and he uses gel to keep it out of his face
-His eyes are a very bright blue, but the Squip said contact lenses were cool so Rich got contact lenses, even though they hurt his eyes like crazy
-Every teen had acne at one point in their life, Rich's was freshman year
-Rich is a fan of Tim Burton(bc he wears a Jack Skellington belt okay), and his fav movie was NMBC, thus he wore a lot of black and white, as well as the Jack pin on his backpack
-Back in freshman year he was openly bi but when he got the Squip it told only straight people were cool so he had to lie about his sexuality(poor boy)
-Rich probably cried himself to sleep at night
-Along with his now burn marks, he has marks from where he cut himself, so he now wears the flannel shirt from "More Than Survive" around so people don't see them.
-Rich is trying his best to go back to being himself after the Squipcident, and Michael decides to help him since who better than the king of being themselves help am I right? Because Michael seems to stay true to himself the entire musical, and Rich notices this and asks him for advice. He also asks him for advice on coming out to their friends, and Michael helps him with that too
-After the Squipcident Rich realizes how much he likes Jake and how jealous he had been when Jake dated Chloe and Christine(and if you didn't know it seemed Jenna as well because Jake and Jenna can be seen making out at the end of "Voices In My Head")
-Rich is waiting for the dye to get out of his hair bc he hates it
-Like Jeremy, Rich has a ton of scars from being shocked, and he's very insecure about them but he knows that he's free of the pain now.
-He feels REALLY bad for burning Jake's house so he buys Jake a wheelchair and offers him to stay at his house, that is until Rich's mom finds out he's bi and stuff and kind of sends him out of the house, so Rich feels even worse but Jake tells him it's okay and that he can buy a new house soon.
-Rich has seen every Muppets movie, and knows every word to "Man or Muppet"(if you have seen the video of his actor and Will Roland singing that song it's BEAUTIFUL)
-Rich now has an addiction to Mountain Dew Red thanks to Michael, also Michael got him to wear bracelets and now he loves them
-Stripes are actually something he really likes the look of
-Still uncomfortable speaking in his lisp, but he's getting used to it
-Even after the Squipcident, he heavily ships Boyf Riends, and he and Jenna have a secret blog about it on tumblr, and everybody who follows them loves the ship
-He's a total weeaboo
-He's basically a God at Smash Bros and that makes Michael want to kill him whenever they play
-Pyrophobia, bad pyrophobia, to the point he can't even go near campfires or fireplaces without Jake because Jake can comfort him and turns out to be a true friend after the Squipcident, because Jake honestly likes Rich more for what he really is than his dumb cool persona. That honestly makes Rich really happy
-Turns out Rich used to be almost exactly like Jeremy in terms of awkwardness(plus freckles, blue eyes, brown hair, and acne, also stripes)

So this is my HC for what Rich looks like before his Squip, yes I HC him as a Tim Burton fan, also he's bi, and has a lisp so Rich is like....majority my spirit animal(I used to have a BAD lisp, but thanks to my braces and a bit of vocal therapy when I was little it's nowhere near as bad as it used to be except with words like "thick" and "sick"or "sing" and "thing")
