Evelyn laughed as she flipped backwards, "This is so fun once you get used to it!"
"Don't get so cocky, trainee! And you're not supposed to touch the ground!" One of the instructors shouted.
She grinned, "Relax, I'm far from touching the ground. Watch this!"
Evelyn did another flip, and the drill sergeant walked over to her.
Still upside down, but holding herself above the ground, she gave him a small smile.
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING, BRANDT?" the drill sergeant yelled.
Evelyn managed to flip out of her situation, and just hung there, balanced and straight.
"You said we could do tricks, sir!" She replied with a straight face.
He paused for a moment, "Without touching the ground!"
"I didn't, sir! You can ask the instructors, sir!"
The instructors that were around her hesitated, then gave small nods in agreement.
The drill sergeant turned back to Evelyn and narrowed his eyes, "Excellent, Brandt! But next time you decide to get arrogant, you're life will be on the line!" He walked over to the next trainee, "NEXT!"
She sighed in relief, "When he said my life will be on the line, did he mean because of the titans, or because of him..?"
She wondered, then shrugged.
"Who cares, I passed!"
