Description
The Ankylodocus is a hybrid between Ankylosaurus and Diplodocus. It was created as part of InGen’s Hybrid project. The Ankylodocus is one of the most well known hybrids in the park, not as iconic as the Stegoceratops, I.Rex, or Indoraptor but still well known. It is a gentle giant; it won’t attack unless provoked which is rare. Most dinosaurs, or animals to be honest, are smart enough to mess with it. The only ones that would there attack it are the I.Rex, Thoradolosaurus, Cerazinosaurus, and other large, hyper-aggressive dinosaur hybrids. The majority won’t attack it for 3 important reasons: 1. its size, although not as tall as other sauropods, it’s still really tall. 2. It is covered by thick scales that functions like chain mail with large, bony spikes covering said armor; the armor tightly covers its neck one of its weakest spots. 3. Its club-tail that pretty much is a flail. It is 2.4m(8ft) long and covered by hard plates. With these reasons, no animal would dare oppose it unless it is the ones I listed before. It is much smaller than its predecessor, Diplodocus, but it is still pretty big. It is 4m(13.2ft) tall, 30m(99ft) long and weighs 20,000kg(44,000lb)/20 metric tons(22tons). The Ankylosaurus dna contributed to the height reduction and shortened neck of this hybrid. But it also help with the adaptation to handle more weight a.k.a. its armor. It is rounder and wider than most sauropods of its size which allows the armor to cover more area of its body, and it gives it a harder body structure for predators to bite into. Its legs are also more like the Ankys in which it allows it to withstand the weight of the armor. The last thing that the Ankylosaurus dna did to help the hybrids body is in its tail. The tail is thicker and stronger than the Diplodocus, allowing it to be able to hold the flail in one place but also swing it with both incredible speed and strength. The flail decimates trees and shatters both rock and metal structures. If a large animal was hit by this flail, the flail would demolish, shatter, and break both the bones and muscle and sometimes cut clean through the whole bone and flesh( this was done with a test dummy of course, no animal was injured during the process). All and all, this hybrid is something you do not want to mess with. We are glad it is a gentle giant that prefers the company of others than a territorial freak.
