Description

They had gone into the Shadowlands, not knowing what to expect. When faced with the
choice of where to begin, they elected to start in Ardenweald. She expected cold, lonely death.
Their experience in the Maw showed them that the lands of death were not working as they
should be.

Imagine Tindomiel’s surprise when they began to explore. There were areas that were lost,
for certain. The loss of anima was costing them dearly. The appearance of the Drust was very
concerning. This was supposed to be a place of renewal. A chance to start again. Yet they were
here, aiding in the destruction of all that was in place to achieve that.

In spite of all that, when the fae led she and Forosuul into the healthier parts of
Ardenweald, she could barely take in one thing, before the next captured her attention. The
sheer beauty of it all took her breath away.
I had the absolute pleasure to paint this piece as a commission for TindomielSilverthorn . This was the first time I was working on realistic b/w bust commission and I have to say that despite my initial hesitations (I've done these only for myself until now), I have greatly enjoyed the entire process. While time consuming, these pieces are always extremely satisfying when finished.
