Theme 28: Sorrow

For my 100 Themes Challenge of DOOM!!

First things first, I'd like to say that I ADORE this background!! It's just really lovely and...spacey.
I chose Graupel for this picture because I've been rather emotional lately, and I suppose you could call this a vent of some sort. Also, floaty tears are kinda rad, although they might be a bit of a nuisance when you want to go and actually do stuff.

I love cute space suits and fishbowl helmets, but it always kinda bugs me a little when people draw their characters with their tails poking out of the suits and having them be unprotected. I mean; it's pretty, but there's practicality to consider here. Says the girl who didn't give her character an oxygen tank. >_<

Anyway, I think this is really pretty, and I hope you think so too. Also, I've noticed that I tend to draw Gropps' head two different ways. With the first, I make her muzzle broader and give her a proper sort of nose, and with the second, I make her muzzle narrower and more rodent-like (see here), and she gets a round little nose on the end. I suppose the first is a more realistic approach that's more accurate to Pine Marten anatomy, and the second is more stylised approach that I just like to use. ^_^
