It is quite beautiful up here~
Denmark have the beaches, the meadows and the seas, Norway have the beautiful mountains and Sweden have deep woods and enormous rivers.

If you really want to do awesome backgrounds (and not only backgrounds - everything you want) - you must love what you are doing. If you love what you are doing - you will use everything you have to do it in the best way. Almost everyone starts with some shitty sketches, but if they love to draw - they become masters.

Lol, you're right. I'm always super lazy when it comes to backgrounds... I spend so much attention trying to make the characters as detailed as I can that I normally get tired of drawing by the time the characters are finished, so I slap on some shitty green colors and blue colors for the grass and sky behind them... I should try to devote some time to just drawing backgrounds and not characters.

I just draw backgrounds in the first place now. And after them drawing characters feels a little easier for me.

Флатти я последней рисовал как раз. Поле нарисовал за минут 20, а вот передний план - да, утомил.
На счет деревьев - лучшего не придумал, а вырисовывать каждый листик мне слишком лень.
