At last! I got a new printer/scanner! ^_^ As some of you know, I've been on hiatus for a week or two but for me, that's too long not to post something up! During my little break off deviantArt, I've been continuing to sketch Epic Mickey art and oh boy. I filled up my sketchbook half way! O_O This is first page of my sketchbook and there will be more on the way but I'll be posting them slowly.

This is my first time using this texture and I got it from messing around with my scanner's options. I'll probably be using this texture from now on until I stumble upon another texture that'll replace this I never stay too long with something really although I should...

1 and 2 are just Iris and Oswald sketches (:

3. I love drawing expressions now and I love this expression on Iris' face (Iris heard a loud roar behind her and as she looked back, she saw a huge spatter pouncing right toward her and gasped.)

4. When Oswald and Iris first meet, it wasn't pretty. Iris expected him to be the kind ruler she has heard from the other Wastelanders. However, Oswald is still hurting from losing Ortensia to the Blot and when Iris appears, she looks a little like Ortensia, except she has a cat tail. He becomes disgruntled and immediately takes a disliking to the boxing cat for looking a little like his Ortensia. Having no idea why he's so rude, Iris also takes a disliking to him as well. Later they become good friends though (: So happy ending!

5. A sketch of one of the Bunny Children. Oh god these things are sooooo cute!! But EVIL! D:>

6. More practice with expressions! I didn't realize it until after I did this sketch but the Bunny Children EAT the Spatters. I'm pretty sure they're not afraid of them XD So for one of the Bunny Children to be afraid of the Spatters is definitely ooc! So just assume Oswald is about to be thrown into the thinner by a Spatter and the two think it's the end of him but lo and behold! Mickey is on his way to save him!

7. This has to be my favorite of this page. This is a "what if" scenario. Since Iris has a disposition of being really proud and stubborn, she thought she could take the Blot that was responsible for bringing Mickey to the Wasteland. Turns out she was no match for it and right when she thought she was a goner, Mickey comes to the rescue and stands in the way of the Blot, determined to block it from hurting Iris even more. For Iris, it's a big realization that she can't always be the winner in every fight. Poor Iris.
