And here she is! Hay Lin, the Guardian of Air, in her 5th transformation, Clockwork Guardian. Hay Lin's transformation isn't as detailed as Cornelia's, so it was faster for me to work on. I hope to give her a more whimsical and carnival feel to her outfit, showing off Hay Lin's free-spirited and artistic personality.

I had the idea of the Guardians traveling to a steampunk fantasy world where they'll need this alternative transformation to work their magic. Clockwork Guardian is only a necessary transformation, so unlike Winx Club, W.I.T.C.H. can revert back to their previous form before this. It is also the most detailed transformation I've worked with. It took me weeks just to do the wings, so doing the rest and for every Guardian is a slow moving beast. The wings are both mechanical and ethereal, running on both magic and clockwork mechanism.

Don't worry, it's not over, as I've also designed Clockwork Guardian for my two OCs, Kimi and Kyochi, the Guardians of Light and Darkness.

You may notice that each Guardian is wearing a type of gemstone.
