My brother's kitty this time, name's Siri and she's utterly adorable
... although she was 4 months and obviously was lost on how to react to my camera, considering she has this face on most of my photos lol

My sisters cats would play harmlessly, and then as they became quicker the game turned into making me bleed.
Now I play with them from the safety of the couch.

I do play like that with my cat Kino, I don't mind the scratches because I know it's part of the game and he doesn't realize he's doing it too strongly. After all, I'm the one moving the hand. If I stop it, instantly, even in the middle of a fierce battle, I'll get a few lick and he'll go away

My sisters ones actively look to inflict damage, looking past the toy and to the hand holding it.
We play with toy mice and things that i'm not connected to.

Kitten and Zeb will play with real mice for 12 hours or more, until it either escapes or dies from exhaustion. Then they pine the loss.

wow I'm sure Kino would love them, he was already chasing ants all summer because we had some kind of a small invasion... the furniture suffered from his numerous jumps and messing around to get to them! So no thank you
