Class work. It's a little messy though >_>My first attempt of making an abstract portrait... looks a little weird to me xD argh abstract is not my thing

The figure's facial expression is my favorite detail about the abstract portrait. I can see how the dimensions evolve from both sides of the face; it almost gives it a wooden appearance.

hubo una exposicion sobre tim burton, no c si aun sigue kreo k no, en el museo metropolitano de arte de N, y habian un montooooooon de sus caricaturas, eskulturas y utileria de sus pelas (pude ver al verdadero y unico Jack Skellington ahi!! fui feliz) varias de sus pinturas lucian komo la tuya xD

I like this 'self-portrait' of yours. I would say that it is more surreal than abstract. It looks like a surreal figure half-walking, half-gliding through a vague dreamlike landscape. Slightly reminiscent of Max Ernst's "Angel of the Hearth and Home".

Yeah that is a confusing bit.. I told my teacher that and he said that abstract is created without a subject in mind it is more feeling.. I think x.x while cubism is deconstructing the subject O.o
