okay lately ive noticed a rash of art theives on DA and the major thing i've noticed is how few poeple know how to deal with art theivesso i decided to makea tutorial about how to deal with art theives

np^^ ive noticed that a lot of DA members dont know what to do when art theives pop up and i wanted to beo of asistance if only in some small maner^^

also if your woried that your art might be stollen without you being aware of it heres a hint
use google revers image to check ^^ it will show any places that your art work pops up and that way you can make shir that no one on DA or any other cite is using your art without your permisoin^^ (just in case you are unaware of how to use google revers images i beilive its part 4 of the tutorial that shows how to use google revers images^^)
hope thats helpfull although i doubt anyone would steal my art (i'm not a verry popular member^^) i like to do a check every week using this method^^ i check defierent devinatoins each time and normally stick to the more popular peices in my gallary^^

I have noticed this too, I have had my work stolen a few times on other websites but sadly when I had reported the issue to the higher ups/managers of the website they didnt bother to do anything and just ignored it completely.

ive seen that happen before
though theres something you can do even if the DA staff doesnt do anything the first time. reaport the art theft again and when you get the reaponse to your reaport you can vote on wheathor or not your service was satisfactory during this chance to reasponse you can civaly explain why you feal that actoin needs to be taken. by taking this second step you can garner more reaspect from the staff and perhaps convince them to act

Third: reaport it. go to the help center of DA and on the front page when you scroll down the most commonly asked quiestoins youl see one about how to reaport abuse click on the link and then fill out the form that pops up.

ive had my art stolen once. i was really mad, but alot of my friends supported me, and we got it down~

i'm sorry that you had to go through having your art stollen however i'm really glad to hear that you'r friends helped you and you were able to have the isue fixed^^
