Description
Okay so i was on the Hype message board and there was an argument on who would win in a fight Black Panther or Batman, wosre came to worse and someone pitted Batman up against Superman like always. Now i love Batman but Superman is freaking annoyingly powerful so i don't expect him to stand a chance without his Kryptonite ring, and i saw a comic joke of By the Time Batman takes out his ring Superman would have flown him to the Sun and destroyed him...............
Ok well too that i say this - (The art speaks for itself)

But Jesus could make Superman pass out in two seconds...with his mind! If Jesus can heal blind people and rise from the dead after three days, he can do anything.

It all depends on how you look at it, it's very subjective.
By "VS"Β you can say in a fight or also mean in general. They both have good qualities and weaknesses.
In a fight superman would win, no contest. Jesus was almost the perfect pacifist -(Depending on what literature you base him on) in the other hand jesus is the only known son of a being who reated the universe (That on it's self grants you a big power boost.)
So in conclusion i would say... Superjesus! Β

...You know what...I'm gonna go with Superman on this one. That heat-vision is some sick stuff, and as OP as Jesus is, I have to imagine Superman can take him.
Alternatively, Superboy-Prime could win, considering he doesn't really have the same weaknesses.

But I think Jesus wins by a landslide coz people actually think he's real and have killed in his name lol

To answer a question with a question is merely saying you have no proof and can not validate your hypothesis in any way shape or form. The Jesus or Yashua [the Hebrew form of his name] mentioned in the bible is present in census records of the exact time and places he was recorded in the bible. Thus I can validate that he existed even if I can not validate he is the son of God but you can not disprove either.

hodni In reply to thefultzman [2013-07-01 21:21:02 +0000 UTC]
Obviously you're here to nitpick on my comment and then sway by being literal about his existence.
Yes, he did exist as a man. But is he God like the Bible says? Well you already answered that question for yourself.
We both know I was pertaining to the belief that Jesus is the son of God (which is also God & the Holy Spirit all in one etc etc) where people have killed in his name.
So unless you're here to argue the existence of God then its pretty pointless to discuss this further as it will just turn into a research fest pissing contest.
Besides, you yourself said you cannot validate him being God as I cannot validate he does not exist so it all comes down to personal belief. I believe God does not exist and you are not sure about his existence either but is open to the possibility.
So before we go into a senseless religious internet debate that won't result in us changing our minds about our beliefs, let's just agree to disagree.

Untrue i am 1OO% sure he exists and is Jesus , God the Father & the holy Spirit I Just can't prove it to a person who is unwilling to see the proof but i am ok to agree to disagree.

OMG! This is all I think about when I look at Superman! (LOL Not this comic, but Jesus! XD). Jesus IS the superman; except with deliberate corrections on the part of Superman^^). Imperturable skin (Hah! Just TRY and crucify THAT! hahaha), super strength (that's actually the same to both^^), super powers, SAVES THE WORLD, their titles match (CHOSEN ONE, anybody?^^)
Oh, and he is just so BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
Thank you for this comparison.

And if Jesus were real, Superman would just nail him back to his cross. Superman's weakness is extremely rare kryptonite; Jesus' weakness is ordinary household nails and some planks. My bet's on Superman.

and like he said " he could of got himself down when ever he wanted ,well if he had his godly powers ,they wouldnt be able to nail him , the nails point would break off lolz........... .... ...He wouldnt need kryptonite because superman doesnt exist and if he did , Jesus would of made a fool of superman , even the silver age wouldnt stand a chance.

Extremely rare? Psh, you can find that stuff in every back alley across metropolis.
I'm not fan of either of the characters I drew here long ago, I was just trying to say Superman's retconned too often, by which he ends up being too damn powerful.
Superman is too damn high! ... I mean Powerful...

Aaaaaaaand this is why some people don't like Superman. He sets himself up so high he creates interesting...moral dilemmas.
I'm still getting over reading a quote in Outsiders where this kid is chastizing his dad for getting up late for pancake breakfast; "Well Thank Superman, now we can eat!"
Not that Superman isn't wonderful, when people actually add personal dilemmas instead of the usual absolute hero shtick (ie Smallville) he's great...we just don't quite want ANYONE to be THAT strong!!

Kerevon In reply to Lilahna1 [2011-04-20 19:10:06 +0000 UTC]
Ummmm... sadly, that actually comes with the name. No kidding. The original concept by Nietzsche of the 'Ubermensch' was that the Ubermensch was a perfect next form of humanity, that followed it's own moral guidelines and essentially will replace religion. And God.
Thus, when Superman does that, he's not out of character. At all. He's actually following back to his most extreme roots.
I will not have a comment as to whether or not I support or oppose that. But that is part of the deal of being a 'Superman'.
π: 0 β©: 1
Lilahna1 In reply to Kerevon [2011-04-26 23:02:26 +0000 UTC]
Oh yah I don't deny that the Ubermensch is definately his roots...it's just that when he follow that line so much the character becomes totally 'Superman' as to opposed to the Superman/Clark/Kal-El mix that makes him well...someone you can actually write about rather than philosophize over the way you do with religious figures like Jesus...
Beside if what I've read about it is true then everyone is supposed to be his own ubermensch not all idolizers of a singular ubermensch...oooor maybe I have to rea-read that bit.

Kerevon In reply to Lilahna1 [2011-04-27 04:03:14 +0000 UTC]
Eh, your probably right. And yes, modern Clark/Kal-El has very little resemblance to his roots. That said, that aspect is brought up sometimes.... frequently, in fact.
