Lineart of Jareth and Sarah dancing. Mildly inspired by Aubrey Beardsley.I did this for a friend of mine who loved this movie, and slowly this picture has endeared itself to me. I liked drawing in this style, particularly for this fandom. It feels like an illustration from the little red book.
This will probably be moved to scraps once the colored is finished.

i wanted to get your permission to color it becuase i don't want you to come after me with the goblin army...the real one not the fake one of the movie...but the really scarey goblin army that sends little artists like me screaming for the hills of the farest kingdoms.
i love this picutre and the color version as well its great.

Is it wrong of me to say that I love the outline characters in the background almost more than the main ones? I hope not. They're just so intriguing. But i do really like the exotic shape of Jareth's eyes and the fine lines on his hair. Their differences of expression play nicely against each other, though Sarah's is a little too sad for my taste. I'm off to see the colored version now though. Nice work.

Thank you so much!~ I actually like the outlines of the characters more than Jareth and Sarah myself--though I don't suppose I should admit that, what with them being the focus of the picture and all. Sarah came out a bit sadder than I had intended, but it worked with the final--so I didn't bother to correct it.
