Soarin and Rainbow Dash both have a lighting bolt cutie mark, so you would figure their kids would too....nope! Instead, Sky has a weird cowlick in the shape of a lighting bolt!I like the idea of Rainbow Dash just being like "Whhhhha? How does that work?" Wheres the logic!?

That's one of the things I love about MLP FiM is that Cutie Marks can sometimes fit the family's genetic pattern or it can be TOTALLY random! Cause magic is weird that way!
