Description
A commission for a fellow deviant featuring two characters from my old comic strip, Working Daze. After I left the feature, it seems that Dana's ability to reshape reality have increased and in this image, the Office Manager is using those special powers to turn Rita, the boss, into an ostrich. Why? Because I thought it would be fun to draw an ostrich. It was either that or a goldfish. Maybe I'll start a donation pool for that series.

The fantasy element has always been in the strip, but Kyle's probably right- it has increased. To the point where Dana is now self conscious about it, and trying not to use her powers. But her co-workers still get under her skin and she slips up. Rita briefly had the power to turn people into monkeys, after a visit to a wishing well- but she must have lost it after Dana turned it back on her.

I know I would sometimes push back against John when I thought he went "overboard" with the fantastic stuff. I guess part of it was that I wasn't really "feeling" it and also, I wanted to stop constantly introducing new and unrelated things spend more time developing what was already there.

Well that's one thing Dana hasn't turned Rita into before. She's done a pig, a frog and a monkey. It's interesting seeing Kyle drawing the characters a few years after he left. Of course, they've changed a bit in my style, but Dana's got the same basic outfit. I gave Rita a lavender suit, but she has the black top still.

Ostriches are fun I don't know why but they are i was bitten by one once but that hasn't stopped me from thinking there awesome
