Description I went through several passes with this and I'm still not 100% satisfied with the results. The inspiration was, of course, the classic "Bride of Frankenstein." In the film, the bride was wrapped in bandages - and I thought of what childish delight the creature would have in unraveling the bandages, never noticing the effect his actions might be having.

In earlier attempts, the creature was looking at the bride, which made his actions seem more lecherous - not my intent. At any rate, I decided to just finish this and throw it up for your enjoyment.

Wow! I'm working on a comic called the REAL Bride of Frankenstein, and I was thinking of doing the same thing! Except I was thinking of him casually lifting up her gown to see what's underneath. I love using the concept of how ignorant the monster is of women and sex. How he views his new friend as something new and unusual and yet so confounding and emotion provoking. And better yet, she's all his, but he has no idea what to do with her.

Two great minds think alike I suppose

Yep, that's what I always say. Your gown concept reminds me of Tarzan's first encounter with Jane in the Disney movie.

Very nice tableau; good colors, nice caricatures, and fun gizmos in the background. It looks like a cartoon that would be fun to watch.

But I wouldn't have the patience to animate it.

...that's where we hire the Korean animators at dirt-cheap wages. We provide the script and keyframe breakdowns, and they do all the difficult animation for us.

This is the system used by "The Simpsons" producers. The story and layout are produced in America, and the rest of it is completed in Korea.

While we're dreaming about things that will never happen, we might as well make plans to race our private jets over there to check on the progress of the animation before we get fitted for our personal jetpacks.

Well, we COULD make it happen, but we'd have to sink a ton of money into the project. I wouldn't do so unless we had a business plan that indicated a reasonable possibility of commercial and financial success, or at least some return on investment (ROI).

Tempting, but I think I have other priorities right now. I'm still negotiating for my personal jetpack.
