It is with utmost excitement that I have the pleasure to announce that Monster Hunter Minerva and Kinsect Defendikus have won Best Masters of Kitsune Kon 2019!

Defendikus had some battle damage, causing his poor head to go 180°. In the end, though, he managed and kept on glowing for all to see.
This cosplay is primarily constructed from craft foam, exceptions being the LED foam and cellophane used for Defendikus, spandex/lycra undersuit, and fabric/rope/chain accents. I used both a paintbrush and airbrush to paint acrylics on everything. This cosplay was constructed in approximately five months and allowed me to explore many techniques I had not used on my previous cosplay.
