Description
This is my entry for LoveFantasyCreatures mascot contest, which I lost. Now, he's my OC.

Name: Sulfur
Gender: Male
Age: 32 (Human Years)
Personality: Bossy, pushy at times, self-centered, antisocial
History: When he was young, Sulfur had wandered away from his family. He couldn't find his way back after and his parents never found him. Ever since then, Sulfur has roamed around in moist areas which normally consisted of a large waterfall.
Also, as a child, Sulfur has always had trouble walking. However, now he has mastered to hover in the air for extended periods of time using magic. He has also managed to hobble around on all four of his legs, much like a praying mantis would walk.
Slowly, the creature discovered his ability to harness electricity of all sorts once he was away from his family. He eventually grew strong in this field of magic, being able to shoot beams of hot electricity from his maw.

One day, Sulfur had wandered away from his normal resting area under a waterfall in search of some food. Little did he know, he ran right into a trap that day. He ended up getting caught in a large yet firm net that he could not escape from. The more he struggled, the more the net seemed to tighten. Soon enough, a small group of hunters found him in their trap. They were always in search of something different and exotic like Sulfur.
They eventually sedated the beast and hauled him to their campgrounds. Soon enough, they found out that the creature's tail was capable of latching onto things and, once latched onto whatever it caught, a poison was released and it slowly killed its victim.
Even though they took careful precautions, Sulfur still managed to escape the minute they had their backs turned. He slowly lurked off before one of the hunters quickly alerted the others that the beast was getting away. Sulfur then immediately picked up his pace, scampering off into the forest. However, a bullet fired from a hunter's riffle had caught his ear, taking out a decent sized chunk of it.
Ever since his capture, Sulfur has become much more antisocial and alert, ready to take action for whatever was coming his way.
