She is XD I love fat cats; so fluffy and sweet. :3 We used to have a lot of fat cats (back then, we had 57 cats. Thanks to my mom XD).

We used to have two family cats(neither one of them were fat) when I was a toddler. Sadly, one of them was given away and the other got run over by a car and was killed. That one that got killed was my mom's first 'baby'. She was devastated when she learned his death and I was too young to remember it.

Aww, so sorry for the lost. I know how that feels. What's worse for me is: our oldest and loved cat had to be abandoned when we were rescued from a roof in Hurricane Katrina. It was hard to watch him watch us go... I hope he had a good life without us.

Yeah. We have to or we won't be in a shelter.

Last thing I heard about him, our old friends who work at a shelter brought him in. They didn't adopt him out, I think; they just let him be the "mascot", as I call it, and help take care of other kitties and pups.

Seriously? Their policies are fucked up. I get pets can make a mess but kids make a mess too and I've seen them doing far more damage than pets do.
That's good. I was worried about your cat but at least he's got a place to live.

Yeah. The person who rescued us, he said to leave our cat 'cause the shelters don't allow them. Even worse, the first shelter we go to; THEY ALLOW PETS. My mom and dad regretted listening to that guy and leaving our baby behind.

Well, that's the last time we heard about him, but knowing our old friends, I'm sure he got a good life. He probably died by now (he was 15 when we left him) but we're sure that he had a good life.

I would have chewed that asshole out for that if I was in your parent's shoes. Either that person was misinformed, assumes, or just doesn't want your cat to be in his chopper or just thinks that they're just 'animals' and just go buy another one.
