Description In the Center is the Wyrd Web The Rune consisting of the vertical Staves and that contained within the outer vertical staves is the Wyrd Rune which contains all runes. Wyrd is a concept in Anglo-Saxon culture roughly corresponding to fate or personal destiny. The word is ancestral to Modern English weird, which retains its original meaning only dialectally.

The Rune EOH which I have marked E* seems to be a mid vowel which I have seen translated as EO, EI and E with a dot under, it doesn't seem to be in use as an English sound.

X has been given the two letters KS for eXample ~ eKSample

When writing Rune Inscriptions as far as I can see doubled letters can be tackled in three ways

  • drop the doubled letter

  • double it anyway

  • double it and mirror the second letter

  • I used the third method to write my name in the bottom left hand corner. It is a matter of how the word appears and all three methods were used. So its open to Artistic Interpretation.

I hope you will find the Rune Rings useful.

I got a pentacle patch on eBay with a runic inscription and this is the only exact translation I've found. What does the inner ring mean? What is "futhark gwhnijepzstbemlngod"?

Your runes mean nothing, runes are phonetic, not grammatical. If we group the "n"s and "g"s with there partner letter "ng" "gw" we now notice no letters repeat. Also the Norse use periods in place of spaces and ":" to end thoughts. All of this shows the inscription is the Nordic runic alphabet. It is a very common jewelery aspect to Nordic jewelry

Your very welcome its something I have been meaning to do for ages, do a good Rune page for my Book of Shadows to replace the odd scraps of paper. Finally got round to it and looks like its something people needed getting lots of favorites.
