My contest entry for 's contest, where we had to draw either one or all of the Generation 6 starters
([link] to journal)I'm super happy with how this turned out! I mean, JUST LOOK AT IT!! THE IMPROVEMENT
Basically it's the three starters showing off their elements. (Couldn't think of anything for Chespin but just check out Fennekin's flame and Froakie's bubbles!!! I LOVE DRAWING BUBBLES NOW.)First time applying a texture behind the picture and think it turned out well (You might notice I edited the colours red, blue and green behind the corresponding PokΓ©mon type
)So who will you choose and what do you think their typing evolutions will be?
(Personally I think Froakie will be Water/Ground, Fennekin will be Fire/Psychic and Chespin either Grass/Fighting or Grass/Dark)

This is a very good piece. The differing positions you put the starters in give the artwork variation, and the way the backgrounds correlate to each starter's type is a nice touch. I don't enjoy pointing out flaws, but... this is a critique... so...
Froakie looks a little big compared to the others, but this may be because he is placed higher. It looks like Fennekin and Chespin are on the same level while Froakie is floating.
But that's it! Besides that, it looks just adorable!

Oh course I don't mind, it was a great critique!! You (as always) put a smile on my face telling me what i've done right or good but also balanced it out by saying what I need to improve on so next time my art can become even better!
