Since I'm on a Godzilla kick right now (and getting excited for the upcoming reboot from Legendary Pictures) I thought I'd do a Godzilla-themed Demotivational poster.Hope you like it!

For me, the best thing about this movie (aside from Bryan Cranston) was how there really were no real heroes or villains in it; the Mutos were just trying to do what all animals do; feed and reproduce. And Godzilla was being purely animalistic too; he feeds on the same stuff as they do. Can't have those pesky Mutos competing with him for nuclear waste, can he? Plus, those eggs hatch and he'll be all out of food.
Humanity was just unlucky enough to be living on the planet they happen to be on.

That is so very true. He's just trying to get to new territories that he hasn't hunted yet for years, and were the buffoons in the way of it all.

I like to think of Godzilla this way as well. Not some mindless killing machine aiming for intentional destruction, but instead a giant animal just trying to survive in a world not made for him. It makes him more of a sympathetic character in my eyes. Its partly why I still love Godzilla 1998 so much. I love all variations of Godzilla.
