(Yes, this was inspired by the newest Game Theory video, Bowser's Broken Home in Super Mario, and yes, this will be a scene in Super Mario Bros.: All-Star Saga.)

Mario: Why do you constantly kidnap Princess Peach, and why do you always attack me and Luigi?

Bowser: The truth is... I've had a horrible past...

Yoshi: But, why?

Bowser: Long before you first met the Mario Bros., and Kamek told me this sometime prior to the original 1985 attack on the Mushroom Kingdom, there was a war between both the Mushroom and Koopa Kingdoms. Both me and Princess Peach weren't even born. A Koopa King and a Koopa Queen were protecting my egg before the war ended. The Mushroom King and Queen, Peach's great-grandparents, dealt one final blow to the Koopa King and Koopa Queen. They handed my egg to Kamek, who was still an apprentice Magikoopa at the time, and told him to take the egg as far away as possible, before their castle collapsed, costing my parents and Peach's great-grandparents their lives. During the time, Peach's grandfather was the same age as Peach currently is today before taking over for his deceased parents. When I hatched from my egg fifty years later, I had no parents at all. I was lonely, but Kamek kept me company. You see, for Koopas like myself, unlike Koopa Troopas, the time it takes for an egg to hatch is half a century, meaning that my kind can live more than half as long as trees, yet we grow and mature like normal humans do.

Luigi: That's a sad story.

Mario: Now I feel guilty for defeating you all those years.

Bowser: Oh, and because Bowser Jr. is my only son, I also forgot to mention that, sometimes, the time it takes for my kind to hatch from an egg is the same length as a human female's pregnancy. Bowser Jr. hatching from his egg was that very length.

Bowser Jr.: And the Koopalings aren't my siblings. Papa adopted them because he didn't want them to suffer the same fate he did.

Daisy: Then, why do you kidnap Peach?

Bowser: Not only was I an orphan, but Peach was the only person I knew to try and fill the void in mine and Junior's lives. You see, when I found Bowser Jr.'s egg at my doorstep, it was actually from a female Koopa of my kind that had an affair with me, as evidenced by the sticky note attached to the egg. By the time it happened, I got word that the female Koopa took her own life after giving me Jr.'s egg.

Rosalina: So, you're saying that your actions are the result of being orphaned at an early age, you adopted the Koopalings to prevent them from suffering like you did, and your former lover took her own life after giving you the egg that contained your biological son?

Bowser: Yes...

Bowser and Bowser Jr.: We're sorry!

Mario: Confessing about your past, Bowser, is the first step towards redemption.

Bowser: And I'm sorry if I tried to hurt you or Luigi...
