This is the remake of my previous version of my image which can be seen here.
I completely made this image from scratch in Adobe Photoshop CS4. As you can see if you compare this to the real version, there are some differences and I really liked how the outcome of the image looks.
Enjoy, I really worked a long time on this wallpaper, and please comment/download the wallpaper. The full res. size is 1920 x 1200 pixels.
I would really appreciate some criticism on what to improve, thanks! Also, please watch me to look out for my new art I will be making. I like making wallpapers and so on, so it might be a good hint.

yeah, our school just upgraded this past year and now they have the adobe cs4 design suite on almost all of the classrooms. I just wish they'd give me a license for my computer.

Yeah, that is my real name. Bennett Frazier. I like signing with that better than my username. I just didn't want anybody to copy me. If you look all around the web right now, nobody else will have the same image as mine. I have the PSD files to prove it.

Now that you highlighted my name, I also noticed another cropping error I did for the magenta tinted part. If you look closely you can see sort of a curved look on it. That's cause I used the lasso tool to select that ray, and i missed that barely visible portion. I will go in and fix that with an update. In case you were wondering that wouldn't be possible for me to do if I uploaded a jpg file. So I made this originally.

I love it! It's clearer than the original too. Looks almost like a more "Hi-Def" version I guess. Nice job. I also run CS3 on XP and CS4 on Win 7...any chance of a name on the filter used? (if any) Thanks...and nice job.

I used lots of Gradient maps, the brush tool with no hardness, Gaussian blur, and lots of Radial Blur. 
Oh, and for the stars, I used some inner and outer glows.
