Sorry if this comic is really cringey. >.<' I'm still practicing doing comics.This was also my side reaction to Bayonetts's reveal. Don't get me wrong, I'm hyped for Bayonetta too, but looks like Shantae's chance may not come for a years to come... possibly never unfortunately, but we can all still dream!
In the mean time, bring on Half-Genie Hero!

Oh its coming...years from now, honestly I doubt its coming in 2016, maybe in 2017 or hell even later than that. Why do I believe its going to take so long, because I don't think WayForward giving an update on the game once every 5 months is really showing that its coming out some time soon, ask WayForward right now when the game is coming out and they will tell u the same thing every time, tba, tba, TBA! im tired of TBA!

Well, I'm still correct technically. It's not not happening. So me putting in "Onwards to Half-Genie Hero" isn't incorrect.
But lets be fair, they still update us, the project isn't dead, and lots of times games get delayed, so they might as well leave it as TBA, really. It may cause fans to be impatient after a while, but come on, I'd rather have a complete game in the end.
... Don't know what's taking Mighty No. 9 so long though.

As for mighty number 9, I got happy when they said they were going to release it in September, then upset when they said it will be changed to February, if they change it again then I will be mad.

Half-Genie Hero's getting DLC? I don't remember that. If you're talking about the Stretch Goals... they aren't DLC. They're add-ons to what the developers already have planned, which would realistically increase development time.
If a game's release date changes to a later one, I only get miffed for a few minutes. Maybe a bit longer if it was like the wait for Smash 3DS/Wii U's initial release, but only a few minutes normally. After that I go on about my life, because I have other things to worry about since they'll come soon anyway.

I do research, keep hearing Wayforward say stuff like all of that, but just see nothing, u shouldn't give an update on a game that people payed for, once every couple months, it shouldn't take that long for an update, if it does, it just means u sloths aren't doing your job.

If nothing else, this push for Shantae has given her some exposure.Β I hadn't heard of her beyond 'certain kinds of art' *ahem* before now, but the campaign to get her in the game got me curious about her games themselves.Β And now I own all three of her games, and am enjoying them.

I don't blame you with the trouble with the first one. It's stretched out and it's pretty difficult, so it's definitely aged. Maybe great for its time though. For the 2 people (in the US) who managed to play it.

That was a rather splendid and earnest little comic. Perhaps she'll someday be in Smash, but for now it's still nice for her to have a new game coming as well as a cameo in Indivisible for the fans to look forward to.
