I don't know how long ago you made this, but about there cutie marks, we know that cutie mark represents somepony's destiny, so why would they be a tea cup with an L, and a apple with K? A pony get's their cutie marks at young age. because L was at the Wammy house and became a detective, he might have something like a magnify glass as cutie mark. light was smart in school, so maybe his cutie mark would be something that represents learning, like books or something. Light wouldn't get a cutie mark at the age he was in death note, so it wouldn't be a notebook or a K. Β
Also, i think light would be better as a unicorn and L as a pegasus.Β

I agree with this point,in the start Celestia and Luna was supposed to be "Queens" (you knew,princess sounds better for a toy for Hasbro) but at some sense,Celestia and Luna act like gods sometimes with powerfull magic/sun/moon thing.

I personally thought both were hilarious, and it seems like the villains are only good when they are fully capable of destroying Celestia.
Speaking of which, what was she doing during the main part of return to harmony? The only time she impacts the plot after exposition is sending letters, after they WALKED to ponyville, what on earth was she doing?
