That's perfect! I know of Grant from the Castlevania series, though I've only played the second one of the Game Boy series. I played a little of Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse on NES, and I hope someone does to Castlevania what Dark Horse did to Legend of Zelda by releasing a history book with cool illustrations from all of the games. It should be a history book detailing the Belmont family in Transylvania. I would love to see such a book in stores sooner or later.

YAY! GRANT! How cool is that?
Well, I agree that his "new look" in CV Judgment wasn't very good, but I like this version too because with Kirk Thornton as voice actor he has probably the coolest voice in the whole game!!!! And beside that Grant is a rare character so I accept every version with him although I like the pirate most!

It would be weird to find a pirate living in Walachia in the 1400s so I'm pretty sure they'd have him be a bandit or something.

I read on Warren Ellis' blog that Grant won't be in the movie. However they've decided to do it as a trilogy and Grant might be put back in, in one the later films. Here's the link to the site if anyone wants to check it out.

I wish they'd reintroduce the denasty's into the castlevania series. It would be awsome to see his acrobatics in the newer games.

They put him in Judgement, but they... pretty much ruined him. turned him into this weirdo bishounen mummy thing. Ugh.
