Description
One of those *things* I draw to go back to, later, when writing. This character is the leader of the Vomicile race. Due to being immortal, its body has grown out of control over the centuries upon centuries. In Neimadian children's books, he's known as the "Vomicile King," and is considered a myth, along with his entire race.Related content

that guy is tall
also, one of your best concepts yet. I like him. Very ragged, hoary, but not too much

I do like the crown like crest.
Fit for a king.
One question.
Are the protrusions bone and bursting from the skin or are they a compacted, gnarled xenos approxamation of keratin resulting in cutaneous horns/claws?

Vomicilian bodies harden over time. The newborn are a formless goo, whereas the initiated are anthropomorphic creatures that can change their shapes for limited amounts of time, but are generally smooth and featureless. As they get older, their bodies harden up, so they train themselves into forms. Sort of like how you might comb your hair into place so often that it stays that way. As a result, older Vomiciles will have multiple arms, eyes, giant armored shells, etc. It's limited only by their imagination and their age. Once they get old enough, their bodies harden so much that they can't move anymore, and their minds slowly wither away along with their bodies. The Vomicile King here is immortal, and as such, spent years adding onto itself. All that to say this: it's basically a combination of things. It's fashioned bones for itself, created spikes out of its skin and new bones, along with chitinous crap, etc. I can't really say they're coming out of the skin or that they are the skin. See, you ask, you get a wall of text.

Well, I'd rather have a wall o text that gives answers than be left wondering.
Interesting and informative response.
Thankyou.
The answer, given the nature of the beast, could be either.
After all, an amorphous creature doesn't have to follow conventional morphology in regards to skeletal form etc.
Given what you said, they strike me as a very dangerous creature, given their adaptability.
The king? even moreso.

Unlikely, as it's just for me, mainly. He's black and gray.
