Well, i'm no professional in the anatomy of cats but i thought i'd share my knowledge on tripods. I do own a cat who has three legs so I know some stuff. I would suggest watching Vet Ranch, since they have videos of amputations taking place and how animals deal with it afterwords (beware, they do have videos of other surgeries, such as eyes, tumors, and other gross stuff. Just a heads up.) It is very educational though. Check it out if you have time!
